Data Integration Leader Talend Achieves Record Revenues in 2014
Experiences Dramatic 122% Growth in New Subscription Bookings for its Big Data Solution

Talend, the global big data integration software leader, today announced strong sales growth and company momentum entering 2015. Talend recorded the highest total revenues in the company’s history in 2014. Overall growth was driven by increases in subscription renewal rates, product upsells and cross-sells, as well as a surge in new customer subscriptions for Talend Big Data Integration and Master Data Management solutions, which grew 122% and 86% respectively. Big Data sales now make up 25% of the company’s new business subscriptions. A range of new customers were added in 2014 including large public sector organizations and leading companies representing a broad range of industries such as health care, finance, retail and technology.

In addition to strong new sales and renewals, Talend saw a dramatic increase in interest for its open source products and trials of its commercial solutions. Downloads of Talend’s free open source tools for everything from Data Quality to Application Integration were up 60% in 2014. In addition, full-version trial requests, including installs of Talend’s Big Data Sandbox, with ready-to-run scenarios for testing Talend Big Data Integration and Hadoop, jumped 125%.
In response to rising sales activity, Talend is expanding its VAR program in Europe in 2015. Additionally, the company is building out its global sales and customer success teams including adding a new central U.S. region. Supporting Talend’s sales goals in 2015 is a development roadmap that includes a number of major product releases and updates over the course of the year.
